A pair of 11-foot estate gates for a Forest Hill property. Designed in collaboration with the homeowner's architect, drawn from forged steel bar stock, hot-dip galvanized after fabrication, and powder-coated in matte gun-blue. Custom hand-forged hinges sized for 600 lbs of swing weight. Automated by a hidden underground rail system. Designed to be the last gates this property ever needs.
Every commission goes through the same disciplined process. We don't take shortcuts because we sign our work — literally — with a maker's stamp on every piece.
Our shop sits on the same Hamilton block where the family business started in 1978. Six thousand square feet of forge floor — open-coal forges, gas-fired forges, CNC plasma cutting, full TIG and MIG welding, sand-blast bay, powder-coat bay. We don't subcontract. Anything that leaves the shop, leaves with our maker's mark.

"We specify IronArc on every project where the metalwork has to outlast the architecture. They're not the cheapest fabricator in Ontario. They are the best one."
Henrietta Pike, OAAPike Architecture · Toronto
"The Russell Hill gates are without exaggeration the best piece of architectural metalwork I have seen installed in Toronto in twenty years."

We accept roughly 24 new commissions per year. Inquiries reviewed weekly by William or Sarah Arc — no sales reps, no junior estimators.
"We don't quote without seeing the drawings. We don't fabricate without measuring twice."
